Antoinette Manuel has 16 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, serving as an organizational leader and community advocate, with a high aptitude in fostering innovation and creativity. Antoinette has worked in mental health, trauma informed practice, youth enrichment and a variety of family strengthening areas. She is a doctoral student with the University of the Pacific in pursuit of her Ed.D in Innovation and Leadership. Antoinette is passionate about deconstructing inequitable systems and building sustainable solutions. She considers herself a lifelong learner, rooted in empowering, educating and motivating others, while working collaboratively in turning challenges into opportunities. Antoinette spent many years navigating intersectional identities on her path to leadership. She turned to mentors and others who looked like her for support. After recognizing there were far too few leaders of color, especially women, Antoinette stepped down from a career role and shifted to sharing her knowledge, resources, and experiences with other women of color and organization leaders as a consultant.
"As the CEO of Arthur LCSW I knew I needed help optimizing the business to get to the next level. I was blind to the problems and opportunities because I was in the midst of them. I.R. Coaching and Consulting came in and evaluated our operations and suggested and helped to implement systems that helped make us more efficient and profitable. I have and will continue to recommend I.R. Coaching and Consulting for my colleagues looking to improve operations."
"Antoinette has taught me, and many others that we can forge our own seat at the table, and never to shy away from being our true, authentic selves. She has positively impacted the trajectory of my career, and educational journey and I am certain that she will work both tirelessly and effortlessly to ensure that everyone she encounters shines just as bright. Her passion to advocate for while empowering those around, leads me to believe there will be no limit to the positive impact she will make."
"Antoinette is a natural leader. She is ever the professional and has the ability to both articulate her position respectfully, and also to listen and consider the perspectives of her peers. In office and amongst community members, she is highly regarded and continually sought out for discussion and collaboration regarding current issues. She is logical and systematic in her decision making but also able to develop creative solutions for problem resolution."
" In my 19 years' experience of working in community mental health I have worked with many leaders. Antoinette stands out as one of the best due to her positive outlook, intelligence, kind, calm- natured demeanor, and her ability to easily connect with others"
